A very pretty open sailing boat, based on the traditional Northumbrian Coble. Ideal for day sailing or weekending under the purpose built canopy. Fully equipped, and with a road trailer (2012) and Seago inflatable she is ready to go.
Clinker planked using marine ply, with epoxy glued lands. Skeg and keel oak and spruce, floors are redwood. Brass keel band the length of the boat.
Gunter rig. Solid spruce mast and spars. Rigging in pre-stretched polyester, triple blocks on the shrouds. Mainsail and jib new 2012.
Gunnels and rubbing strake in mahogany.
2012 4hp Mercury outboard, mounted in a well inboard. Swings up into the boat and closed off with a shaped panel. Regularly serviced.
A full canopy from the stern to the mast gives 2 sleeping spaces for camping/weekending and gives 4’ headroom.
Plenty of lockers for stowage of sails, canopy, battery and stores.
