Novatec Fast Trawler

The Novatec 43' Fast Trawler is an attractive Taiwan import with a clean profile, offering quality and craftsmanship for an affordable price. As is the case with all Novatec boats, this trawler is a semi-custom boat available in several layouts.

This model features a traditional all-teak interior with three staterooms. The full queen master has an ensuite bath, vanity, generous storage space and a hanging locker. As well, the forward stateroom is just as comfortable with its similar berth, vanity and access to the common head. The third stateroom has the flexibility of being an office. The salon and galley blend to create adequate entertaining, dining or relaxing space.

Topside, the full-width aft deck - with its teak overlay and built-in wet bar - is quite spacious for a 42-footer. Additional features include a roomy fly bridge with plenty of seating on the L-shaped settee, hardtop, radar arch, and swim platform. Constructed on a solid fiberglass semi-displacement hull with moderate beam, hard chines, and a long prop-protecting keel, the boat will provide excellent fuel economy at low RPM. Twin Cummins 330-hp diesels will provide an economical cruising speed of 15 knots and allow a top end of 17 knots.
