The 26’ was the first Nordic Tug model, developed during the oil embargo years of the mid-1970s, with a fuel-stingy design that complimented her nostalgic “slow cruising” tugboat appearance. Though her 110 hp (80.9 kw) Yanmar diesel burns less than one gph at six knots or two gph at eight knots, she can still kick it up when needed to reach a top speed of 14 knots.
