Nat Herreshoff in his more than three-quarters of a century of active yacht design, the Herreshoff Newport 29 Cruising Class stands out as one of his finest designs.  Maynard Bray has described the class as "... what many consider to be the best all around design ever created by Nat Herreshoff or any other designer."
