Vicem Yachts is proud to announce that construction of their 46 meter megayacht, the Vicem 46M, is steadily underway. With an anticipated splash date in the summer of 2011, Vicem's world class craftsman are skillfully executing on the the latest design of Holland's premier designer, Mulder Design (see The World is Not Enough, Octopussy, Moonraker). The stunning interiors are drawn by the Dutch firm Art-line (who have created interiors for yachts built at Heesen, Feadship, Holland Jachtbouw, and Lurssen). Art-line's interior of the Moonen 92 displayed at Monaco this fall drew appreciative crowds. Designed to entertain and sleep 12 guests in unrivaled luxury, her Turkish craftsman will provide accomodations with the skill and artfullness they have shown with Vicem's renowned Classic and Cruiser yachts. Her guests will be pampered by 8 crew. Vicem's instructions to her design team were simple: be uncompromising and innovative. We believe they have succeeded. Her three level stairway, built with the yachting world's first "Overhead Atrium," will be a stunning bit of architecture. Fabricated with vacuum bagged sandwich construction using Corecell (encased in quadraxial and triaxial e-glass) the result will be a rigid, light and strong performance yacht. Her twin 3650hp MTU engines will produce a maximum speed of 28 knots, and a range of 4,000nm at 12 knots.
