Crisp hull lines are complimented by the sweeping sheer of the teak deck unencumbered by visible mooring, furling or sail controls.
The Speadwave 32 will make the perfect daysailer, offering an exhilarating sail, with the hull, deck and supporting structure engineered to ensure excellent performance and the responsive twin rudder steering system giving precise directional stability. Combined with a carbon mast, trough boom, fractional swept back spreader rig and single line reefing, the yacht is powerful, yet easily controlled and can be sailed by just one person.
The upwind sail area is divided between furling self tacking jib and fully battened mainsail with boom stacking system. Offwind performance can be easily turbocharged by hoisting the masthead asymmetric gennaker that tacks in front of the headstay, avoiding the weight and complexity of a bowsprit.
The helmsman has been provided with his own ultimate area to sit or stand at either of the twin helm stations. This enviable position offers a clear view forward whilst maintaining intimacy with guests.
All the sail controls are led aft, within easy reach of the helm, with twin powered winches controlling the mainsail and self taking jib with ease.
The open cockpit is spacious, designed for total comfort, without compromise. Guests can enjoy the 'close to the water' sailing experience from the dedicated seating area, which is protected from the elements by the coamings, sweeping down from the coach roof. Ample 'sofa seating' and a removable table provides an ideal environment for entertaining and alfresco dining. There is a clear path between the twin wheels to the open aft deck for lounging, swimming, or just trailing your feet in the water.
The wide hatch entrance allows a free flow inside outside living and the tinted overhead glass panel extends the length of the coachroof, allowing light to flood the accommodation. The contemporary styled interior is supremely comfortable using the finest quality materials and fittings. The compact galley and enclosed heads provides the necessary essentials to spend time on board, whilst forward of the seating area, there is a cosy double berth for the occasional overnight stay, when venturing further afield.
