Well known Trimaran on the Auckland scene currently owned by 3 Professional sailors.
This boat was originally designed and built by ETNZ designer Andrew Kensington in 1998 as a 9m Carbon race boat. It was raced for 2-3 seasons before spending 7 years inside a 40ft container in storage.
In 2007 it was sold to its current owners who raced the boat for 2 years winning lots on the local scene and breaking the Coastal Classic record for under 35fter . This record still stands.
In 2010 the owners decided to turbo the boat and had Oracle Design team member Mike Drummond design new 10.3m outside floats and fit new stiffer beams to the boat. Then in 2013 the boat had a new mast built and all the changes made the boat nearly 100kg lighter than when it started life.
The boat is now 100% carbon foam.
The boat has structure and centercases to have foiling centerboards but hasn't currently.
