The 85 LRC series is for the cruising couple or for the owner who wants to have a crew or captain onboard. This is a large boat with 23' of beam and is very easy to handle even in the worst conditions. There are many highlights on the Northwest 85'; however the skylounge and enormous master stateroom are at the top of the list. Each room shows off the old world craftsmanship with the attention to detail using exotic woods and rich fabrics. This is not the interior you would expect to see on an expedition yacht. The exterior, engine room and systems are everything you would expect on the expedition series and more.... Both the aft and forward pilothouse models have three different floor levels: with the salon, galley and master stateroom on the mid-floor, guests and crew on lower level, and pilothouse and skylounge on upper level. There are spacious three (3) staterooms with ensuite heads and a fourth room that can be an extra bunk room for the grandchildren, exercise room, or the ideal crew quarters. The flybridge has a spacious layout above these three floors and includes an integrated hardtop. These full displacement yachts will cruise at 10.5 knots burning about 1.3 gals/ nautical mile coupled with the 6400 gals of fuel, gives a 5000 cruise range. | ||
