Tour of the Boat:
The interior of “Nordhavn 56 Hull # 9” is teak with a satin finish. All living spaces are heated or cooled using a CruiseAir AC system with individual unit controls (four zones - Saloon, Owners Stateroom, Galley, Guest Staterooms). Floors are teak & spruce soles throughout the boat.
The main saloon is accessed from the stern of the boat through a large Dutch door with glass windows in both the top and bottom of the door. There is a large settee and table to starboard with two barrel chairs to port. Behind the barrel chairs there is storage and an area allocated for a TV lift. This layout allows for easy access through the saloon and is a great space for entertaining.
At the forward of the saloon is the helm area which includes the command station for the vessel. This area provides a panoramic view of the boat and her surroundings and is comfortable in all weather. The boat is easily handled from this area since along with the engine control, there are bow and stern thrusters. A Stidd chair complements the area along with the chart table and two chart drawers to the right side of the helm.

The area integrates down a step onto the boat’s swim platform which comes equipped with a swing out swim ladder.
Directly above the cabin top in the saloon is the boat deck. It provides storage for a tender along with access to the electronics arch. The boat is designed so that the boom will act as a hoist and launch mechanism for the tender. (the dingy gets mounted athwartship). Note: since this is a new boat, no tender has been selected yet.
