This high pedigree-fishing machine was designed by well-known naval architect Michael Peters. Tribute's President, Rich Scheffer's background start's off by building Jim Smith boats under the legendary innovative founder of the high speed sportfish industry, Jim Smith. Upon the death of Jim Smith, Rich Scheffer decided to build his own boats as a "Tribute" to Jim Smith. In 1992, Tribute Boats, Inc. was born.
