2010 49' MOTOR YACHT. Askania is a newly launched steel motor cruiser designed for either a commercial cruise vessel for long river or coastal cruises; a dive ship; or a private yacht. She sports a red primer coat and will be painted to your desired finish color. This unique opportunity lies in Kherson, Ukraine and has just completed sea trials, and is ready for completion to your specification.

Powered by twin Mercedes MB601s, Askania will have a range of 1600 miles at a cruising speed of 7.2 knots. The engineering (engines, fuel system, water supply, sanitation systems, navigation systems, remote monitoring and management systems, and the electrical wiring) are complete.

The hull is completely processed with soundproofing and insulation, padded, and painted with antifouling paint. Construction work on the internal spaces is 95% prefinished.

The bottom and the hull are primed with International Paints two part primer and antifouling paint. Zincs and anti corrosive elements are installed.

A Baysan reverse gear with a 1:2.5 ration is installed with 550 mm propellers.

Askania is designed for three double guest staterooms and three full heads, and a double cabin and head for crew, on the main deck. The weather deck is set up for a salon, a caboose, captain's bridge, dining area, bar, indoor cockpit, and an area devoted to swimming and diving. The flying bridge is designed for a folding shelter and lounge area.

You have the opportunity to finish out these areas to your specification, or to modify the layout to meet your needs. Completion work can be accomplished by Intershpon in Kherson, or at a location and facility of your choice.

Maritime registration for Ukraine is ready, however this yacht may be registered in other jurisdictions of your choice.

Fine finishing and shell finish painting are required at this time. Intershpon estimate that cost of the fine finishing will be an additional Euro 120,000.
