COME SEE US AT THE STRICTLY SAIL PACIFIC APRIL 9,10,11 & 12
This Beneteau 40 is the cruising version of a versatile and desirable yacht. Equally at home as a California day/weekend sailor for a family or group of friends as she is coastal cruising along the west coast or beyond. This is truly one of those yachts that can serve a number of purposes very well --- and is in such lightly used condition that she's really worth a look as an alternative to new purchase.
Music is well-equipped with a lot of the extras you might need to add to a stock boat, and is setup for easy single and short handed sailing, which makes taking a group of friends out easy. She truly could serve as both a boat on which to learn to sail and then comfortably voyage on passages to the Channel Islands, Mexico and beyond.
Some notable features include: classic main sail with lazy jacks, 140 % jib, 100 % North jib, asymetrical spinaker, offshore dodger with handrails, bimini w/ transition, up-sized 54 HP Yanmar, 3 blade Max prop, E-80 chartplotter, Single Sideband Radio, AIS receiver, wired for computer at nav station, LED combo running/anchor lights, Electric windlass, Delta anchor with 200' of 5/16 HT chain and 150' of rode. She has wiring and through-hulls for a watermaker and is ready for a Spectra installation.
This is a boat that merits a look --- she is clean, in great shape and lightly cruised, and ready to get out and play on the Bay with a new owner.

Music . . . melody, harmony, in tune, song . . . the name of this vessel fits her spirit.
Commissioned by Passage Yachts, Music has recently returned from a successful Mexico cruise!
She's equipped with a sensible offshore package: 'classic' main with lazy jacks, 140% & 100% headsails asymmetrical spinnaker, 'offshore' dodger & bimini, upgraded auxiliary motor, MAX Prop and the Raymarine interfaced electronic package (including AIS and SSB radio).
Think about your dreamed adventure . . . the Ba-Ha-Ha or winning the Banderas Bay Regatta in your class (Music did this in 2010).

Stepping through the companionway and descending the wide and lower angle steps, you find a U-shaped galley to port. It features an LPG stove/over, front opening generous refrigerator, top loading freezer, double stainless steel sinks with clever cutting board covers to extend counter space, and a microwave. The galley is exceptionally clean.
The main salon features medium blue velour cushions with a U-shaped settee around a very large table to starboard, and a port settee along the hull. Cushions and soft goods are in excellent condition, and the spacious area is well lit by large side windows with opening ports. The entire salon is also ventilated by an overhead hatch that opens in two different directions to allow control over airflow.
There is a V-Berth cabin forward -- the berth itself is a double, and the forward cabin is large enough to walk in, shut the door to the main salon, and sit at your own mini-nav station and/or vanity area. There is generous storage in the forward cabin and it is a space any guest would find generous. It is also ventilated by both opening ports and an overhead hatch.
There is a Double Berth cabin aft that uniquely utilizes 3/4 of the generous beam. It features a large hanging closet and several other large storage cupboards. It is also ventilated by several opening portlights, including one to the cockpit to allow the ship's master easy communication with the night watch crew without leaving a bunk.
The single head with fully enclosed stall shower is abeam the companionway to starboard. It is generously sized, well lit and ventilated, and is exceptionally clean.
The vessel features privacy screens for the windows and insect screens for the opening ports. There are LED lights in main salon for power savings, as well as indirect lighting for softer evening light.
