The Legacy 32 is the perfect cruising boat for a couple. This beautiful, well-built cruiser has a large double island berth forward which is equipped with a comfortable, custom mattress. This stateroom has enough storage space to take care of those longer cruises; shelves and hanging lockers both port and starboard, and two large drawers under the bed. Reading lamps are port and starboard at the headboard and there are ten over head lights.
The interior is cherry joinery with a teak and holly sole, all in excellent condition.
The large head is aft to starboard with a separate shower stall. The toilet is an electric Jabsco Quite Flush. There is a nice vanity, mirror, clothes hamper, and more than ample storage space. Space below the vanity, behind the toilet, and a large dry compartment behind the shower seat.
The Galley is aft to port and features a clever large pull out storage area, Vitrifrigo drawer refrigerator, Princess two burner electric stove, microwave oven, and a stainless steel sink with pressure hot and cold water system. Corian countertop space is generous with covers for the sink and stove and ample storage above and below.
There are three overhead opening hatches: over the master bed, in the head, and one over the galley. Six opening stainless steel ports provide additional light and ventilation. Sea Smoke is air conditioned for your comfort with reverse cycle AC/heat on both the cabin and the helm deck.
The upper salon / helm deck is up three steps. This comfortable area has port and starboard facing bench seats with cream color Ultra-leather upholstery. These seats can easily convert to sleeping berths when required. The helm and port forward facing seats are generously proportioned and also Ultraleather. The center windshield and two side windows open for ventilation while the aft hanging curtains have a large U-shaped screened section for even more ventilation. There is a table that stows away until needed for cocktails or fine dining. Trim is cherry with solid teak decking underfoot.
When the aft curtains are stowed, the aft cockpit and helm deck flow nicely for a wide-open entertainment/lounging area. Nicely upholstered bench seats with armrests and cup holders flank the center transom door. Insert the center filler piece and you have a wonderful bench seat stretching across the transom. The large cockpit is accommodating, and the wide side decks make it easy to go forward. A large teak swim platform is accessed via the transom door. The cockpit deck is fiberglass non-skid for easy cleanup and sure footing.
A signature feature is the wide side decks with handholds which make forward deck access easy, safe, and secure. Molded in non-skid on the side and foredecks along with the welded bow rail help make the foredeck a nice place to sunbath or watch the sunset.
Engine access is through a large opening hatch with gas assists. Access is wide open with all important maintenance items within easy reach. You’ll note the gelcoated and finished bilges which help keep the engine room clean and tidy. The up-rated Cummins QSB480hp diesel propels the 32 effortlessly and economically. Extra soundproofing and gasketing results in unusually quiet operation. The Onan generator operates in it’s own insulated sound enclosure while the Mastervolt Invertor provides truly silent 110v power.
