The engineers and designers at Grand Harbour have combined foresight and thought to produce one well-designed cruising yacht that is both fast and stable. SYMBAN's wide beam of 16 feet and dry weight of 52,000 pounds make for a seaworthy ride while her hull design puts her up on top and planing at a comfortable and fast cruising speed. Other big pluses for SYMBAN are the components used, which are all top notch, so servicing is easy and well thought out, and she’s manageable for a couple to operate and run. At her bow, a high stainless steel bow rail ensures safety when forward. There’s also an integrated anchor pulpit with anchor roller and hawse pipe that connect to an anchor windlass with remote operation for easy anchoring when cruising. On the foredeck, there’s a large sun pad for your hedonists and also has a eight-person life raft for offshore safety. The walkways outside the pilothouse and salon are wide and non-skidded and the dive platform at the transom is large enough for a full crew of water enthusiasts. Her aftdeck features transom doors on each side of the stern and the rear lounge is perfect for entertaining after a day’s journey. The aft deck table is on the lazarette hatch making access to this compartment as simple as tilting the table over. Access to the large engine room is also located on the aft deck and utilizes a vertical stainless ladder for entry. There’s also abundant storage in the engine room. Her salon is wide and roomy utilizing almost the full beam of the boat. There’s an L-shaped leather lounge with table to port, an entertainment center and storage center forward and twin barrel seats to starboard. SYMBAN's master stateroom uses the full beam of the vessel and features a great layout with an island pedestal bed, vanity with storage and mirror, an office work space to help keep your affairs in order when at sea, and a master head ensuite that is lavishly appointed as well. Entrance to the master stateroom is located in the pilothouse which adds to the privacy of the master. Her pilothouse contains the lower helm and is well designed for both navigation and entertaining. There’s an L-shaped leather dinette with table to starboard and just opposite is the U-shaped galley that features a granite counter-tops, a marble floor, full size refrigerator freezer, convection microwave, double stainless steel sinks, a 3-burner ceramic stovetop with oven, and ample counter space for food preparation. Down a beautifully curved stairwell forward from the pilothouse are the guest staterooms and the master stateroom. The VIP guest stateroom is located forward and also features an island pedestal bed, cedar-lined closet, an entry into the guest head that can also be accessed from the hallway. The third guest stateroom is located to starboard and features over/under twin bunks and a storage closet. Her flybridge helm is nicely designed and affords excellent visibility both fore and aft. The flybridge also provides a great entertainment area with lounge seating, wet bar, and Force 10 propane grill. The aft deck of the flybridge has enough room for her Boston Whaler 13-foot tender, 40 hp outboard and a stainless steel boom davit for easy launch and retrieval. With her sleek profile and overall length of 59 feet, SYMBAN is a fantastic cruising vessel featuring an excellent layout, superb woodwork and finishes, and performance that is hard to find among pilothouse cruisers. | ||
