Amy James was the 2008 London boat show boat and was commissioned shortly after in February 2008. We have owned her from new. Since then she has taken us cruising from the solent down to Devon and Cornwall once or twice a year. Last year we added a week in and around Guernsey to our trip.
She has proven to be a very seaworthy boat and has dealt with less than ideal seas on our crossings over Lyme bay. She has been a practical and easy boat to manage single handed with twin side doors, safe side decks and bow/stern thrusters. On Accommodation, the two cabins have good size berths and the addition of the cockpit canopy has greatly extended the amount we use that space which has good seating and a table. She is particularly strong on storage with large cockpit lockers and a large lazarette.
