Using old family photographs, construction began in 2007 at his home on the shore of the West River in Galesville, Maryland..
The owner used the finest material availble in the country, Douglas fir, Cypress, Red Oak while using modern epoxies and fasteners.
The owner has won numerous awards from the Maryland Antique Classic Boat Society for his construction techniques and has given numorous lectures about the construction of this vessel and his family heritage.
She is powered by a 45 HP Perkins Diesel and cruises using very little fuel, at approximately 8-10 knots.
