Cruising World gave the Beneteau 49 the “Best Full-Size Production Cruiser” award in 2007. The Berret-Racoupeau designed hull lays particular importance on upwind/ downwind performance as well as helm balance. For the interior, the Beneteau design office and the architects worked closely with the famous Italian designers Nauta Yachts to create a light, warm and welcoming atmosphere with new levels of luxury. “Santosha 1” is a particularly good example of this boat, highly maintained from new and with lots of extra fitted to make her perfect for long distance cruising.
