This style of vessel was developed by Adrian Thompson of Paragon Mann for SPS military forces. Multimarine and Nic Bailey developed a version for the leisure market, available on a custom build contract. Not only does it look awesome but by the nature of its design it is efficient too and, with the price of fuel going through the roof, is as close to a green cruising powerboat as you can get. A range of up to 1,800 nautical miles without filling up and speeds of up to 40 knots are easily achievable; faster is possible with a different engine configuration.
