Manufacturer Provided Description
Jeanneau presents the Sun 2500, designed by Olivier Petit, an enjoyable, beachable, sailboat. The Sun 2500, with its family ties to the Sun 2000, is a vibrant boat: fun and fast under sail (with weighted centerboard). Inspired by the mini transat boats, the Sun 2500 has a generous sailplan with a 7/8 fractional rig. With the twin rudders and beamy hull (2.90m), the Sun 2500 offers remarkable stability.
GRP yacht with navy blue gel coat topsides, white deck and superstructure. Large self-bailing cockpit with storage locker to starboard. Winch handle pocket in cockpit. Folding swim ladder on transom. Non-skid cockpit floor and seats. Self bailing anchor locker in bow with stainless steel stem head fitting. Stainless steel push and pulpit rails with stanchions and double set of guard wires offering protection when moving around the decks. Swing keel operated from saloon table. Counter hung semi balanced twin rudders with stainless steel stock and beaching protection. Tiller steering.
The hull was anti-fouled and polished in February 2016.
