The first impression of the interior of the J145 is open, comfortable and well built - exactly what one expencts from J Boats. The furniture and bulkheads are varnished cherry wood and the cushions are covered in Ultra Suede fabric. Overhead stainless grab rails in main cabin. Cherry hull ceilings.
The main salon has port and starboard settees with outboard pilot berths to accomodate crew. There is a light weight cherry table on center line with drop leaves and storage. Removable, varnished teak and holly veneer floor boards with epoxy sealed underside and edges.
Ventilation and light provided by five Lewmar hatches. Main cabin hatch has quick screen or shade. Wood varnished screen for main hatch and companionway screen. Addition opening ports in the owner's cabin and the port locker. Fans in cbin, port bert area and owners' cabin.
Vinyl lining on overhead and hull sides in forepeak and aft cabins. Lee cloths at all berths in owners' stateroom and main cabin. Two berths and lee cloths in aft port storage area accessible from cockpit or cabin.
