This is a trailerable lobster boat/trawler. It was built from plans by Glen-L Marine.
Glen-L has been around since 1953 and has served as a training ground for Naval Architects, some of whom have gone on to start businesses of their own.
This particular boat is a gorgeous example of fine craftsmanship and, as a trailerable boat, you can reduce costs by not being dependent on a marina. You can also relocate the boat easily to other places you've always wanted to explore.
This boat was first launched in 2009 and powered with a rebuilt engine to save costs - hours represented (+/-400) are since rebuild. It is a 1993 motor reconditioned in 2005. The transmission and damper plate are new as of 2015 because the damper plate failed. Although the damper plate didn't affect the transmission this was not known until the transmission was removed. At that time it was discovered that the problem was only the damper plate. However, both were already removed, and a new transmission already purchased, therefore the new transmission was installed. This boat is in use this summer and you are welcome to schedule an appointment to see her.
Currently she is having a new, stainless steel water tank installed.
