OWNER COMMENTS::

We have spent almost three years searching for a boat which would fit our needs best. And our needs were defined by our intentions to spend weekends and even holiday weeks in it. We, therefore, needed a home away from home type of boat and Galeon 330HT was really the best boat we could ever choose. We have compared many boats and here are the unique advantages of Galeon for an owner going to spend weeks in it:

1. Separate shower - the only boat we could find within 32-33 ft range with this valuable feature. One just has to imagine entering heads after someone else has taken a shower there. Every morning? For two weeks?

2. Fresh water capacity of 370 litres! Unique. Normally we saw boats with 230 - 270 litres. And what is 370 litres? It is 4 days for two adults without having to top up and with daily showers, of course.

3. And then we add a generator - that makes us really autonomous and able to stay at anchor in a quiet lagoon for a very, very long time.

4. A DVD player with subwoofer giving home cinema effects for evenings

5. Perfect sea view through a glass wall separating saloon from cockpit

6. "Webasto" diesel heating - what a blessing in our north European climate zone. Moored to a pier, dressed in t-shirts and watching the snow fall outside - this is not a dream, this is what we actually experience every year in October - November. If it wasn't for the ice covering our lagoon, we would have spent New Year’s holidays on board.

7. No flybridge? Those who live in 4 seasons climate zones, look around. Do boaters in sports cruisers often boat with their bimini's down? No, because in most cases it is too chilly for their girlfriends, or too windy for their kids, or too wet for everybody. When it comes to boat windage in a marina where a captain sweats his way into a tight space, a hard top boat is a big advantage. And how much fuel can you buy for some 13-15 thousand euros which you save deciding to give away flybridge? It is thousands of additional miles of pleasure for free! And with this huge half hardtop opening hatch one can have as much wind in his hair.

During these 5 years since we bought this wonderful boat, we, my wife and I, became pretty certain, that both of us equally like spending lots of time boating or simply on board,  we discovered we can stand even stormy seas well and that we want to sail much farther. So we have decided that this is the right time for us to switch to sails. Whilst Galeon is the best boat we know as a home away from home boat and is excellent for medium distance cruising with its CE classification as B class (open seas) boat, we want sails to take us across the seas, who knows where…

 Owner will consider part exchange for a sailing yacht of similar size, for example Bavaria Cruiser 32
