One of the latest Dyer 29's to be built, MAX is a very special vessel. The owner spared no expense to make MAX comfortable, quiet, and a sight to behold. Her Flag Blue Awl grip hull is gorgeous and contrasts nicely with her white windshield and cabin trunk, varnished teak trim and tan Sunbrella canvas. Her YANMAR 315 HP DIESEL is isolated from the running gear to provide the smoothest and quietest cruising possible. Every option for comfortable cruising has been included in the building of MAX.
MAX has only 205 hours on her engine, receives total yacht yard care and is stored inside each winter.
We encourage your inspection.

MAX has the standard Dyer 29 layout below, however, more refined in finish than is usually seen. A Herreshoff style of white bulkheads with varnished teak trim carries throughout the below deck accommodations. The forward v-berths have light green Sunbrella cushions. The hull sides above the berths are lined in varnished cedar for a nice contrast, and teak shelves are present as well.
Aft of the berths is the well appointed galley, to port. A counter top ice box has a SEAFROST refrigeration system, which runs on the 12 volt ship's power. The stove is a single burner Kenyon propane model. The stainless steel sink and hot and cold pressure water faucet are mounted in the galley counter. There are sliders outboard of the galley for storage and this area is also lined in varnished ash. Additional storage is found below the counter.
To starboard of the galley is an enclosed head area. A vanity with sink and a pressure hot and cold shower is included, as well as the manual operated marine toilet.
4 opening ports and a large overhead hatch offer great ventilation to the accommodations. A teak and holly cabin sole completes the high level of finish to the below decks.
Up 2 steps is the helm area. A solid teak sole offers great non-skid qualities and custom appearance. The engine hatch is flush to the floor.
The helm station is to starboard and has full instrumentation, electronics, and single lever control. Helm and mate seats are port and starboard, and are covered in the same light green Sunbrella fabric as the below cushions.
Aft of the mate seat to port is an "L" shaped settee with the same light green fabric
cushions. The helm station area is covered by a bimini style canvas enclosure which has opening side panels, windshield panels and aft drop curtain.
A small step down brings you to the aft cockpit which also has a teak sole. The windshield joiner-work extends aft to form high coamings for cockpit security. There is an aft seat with backrest and fabric cushions, and a separate deck box that is used as a step. A spruce mast supports the radar dome and adds extra class to this unique Dyer 29.
