The boat was a degaussing vessel for the English Navy, named "LODESTONE". built in 1980
She was bought in 2001 .
Thenshe was refitted in Turkey over the next 5 years after emptying her out .Every items on board was replaced as well as every systems

The keel thickness is 12mm and the hull plates are 10mm, the plate’s material is steel Lloyd class "A". It is a no magnetic steel hull so it is not affected by galvanic current.
The boat, in the Lloyd Register, is classified as a new construction 2005.
Bleu de Nimes is in class with the Lloyd Register in compliance with MCA, Malta cross and an unlimited commercial class.
The Lloyd special class survey was finished in April of 2011, so the boat is on class until 2016.
Special class survey for the hull was done in Cairns Australia. Shafts and propellers were taken apart; hull and fuel tank were sandblasted per Lloyd request. No corrosion has been found in the hull plates.
She is a strong and safe explorer vessel with 4 stabilizers, 3 generators 174 Hp per each, 1 emergency generator 75Hp, 2 main engines of 1680HP (total 2400Kw). All engines are "Cummins" brand.
The maintenance for main engines and generators has been done in accordance to the manufacturer books and without exceeding hours.
Around the world, she sailed 85.000 nautical miles.
On board 5 jet skies and 4 large tenders: 2x 9.3m "SOLEMAR", 2 x 11m custom "DUBAI": one fully equipped for fishing and the other for diving.

In 2008 after a full and comprehensive rebuild, M/Y Bleu de Nîmes received the highest possible Lloyd's A1 class certification, giving her the status of a newly constructed yacht. Build to the highest safety standards she is capable of comfortably dealing with around the world cruising.
With a total of 950 m² guest area (550 m² interior, 400 m² exterior), a maximum number of 12 guests will find ample space to enjoy all the luxuries Bleu de Nîmes has to offer. A total of 21 crew are attending all their wishes and offering a wide range of activities, luxurious lounging and sleeping facilities and five star international cuisine.
Master suite The Master suite is divided between bedroom and bathrooms by a corridor that has a small studio on one side and wardrobes on the other. The entertainment centre is in the main bedroom. The suite comprises two bathrooms: one larger with a large tub and shower and one smaller with a shower. The total surface is 50 m²
Guest cabins There are four king size cabins, one twin cabin and three twin cabins with extra Pullman berth. All cabins have an entertainment centre, a walk-in closet and en-suite bathroom with shower. Each cabin has a surface of 25m².
