Excerpts from a boat review of the Bertram 360 Open by Wave Magazine, December – January 2007:
The Bertram 360 Open…
“Features the renowned Bertram rugged deep-V hull combined with just the right amount of weight so that this sport fisherman can handle seas that keep other yachts in its size range tied to the dock or limited to nearby waters”
“The result of this impressive collection of naval know-how is a versatile vessel that builds on Bertram’s quality and design standards to make the boat more like her larger sisterships when it comes to handling and performance”
“The result is better overall handling with higher top-end speeds without sacrificing a balanced run in rough waters”
“The new 360 interior is a far cry from the austere cabin amenities of the earlier compact Bertram Moppies”
“The forward stateroom is private yet roomy and well-lit. It’s anchored by a queen sized island berth in centerline in the bow. The well-equipped galley and roomy head are to port while an L-shaped settee is to starboard facing a hi-lo table for dining, cocktails, or propping one’s feet up to read the latest issue of Wave. The luxe side cabin windows, which open up the interior, are an innovative feature on the open style boat. Storage is placed just about everywhere the builder could fit it in.”
MYSTIC BLUE has been customized to provide the ultimate fishing war wagon in its class. The boat is equipped with a starboard and port plumbed live wells that can keep different baits alive all day and night without a concern. This owner uses the factory live well as a drink cooler, but is set to be used as a third live well if you wish. On both the port and starboard side are 30 amp electrical sockets for your electric reels, whether you are using them for deep dropping baits or flying kites. Spacious “kill box” is built into the transom as well as a transom door for hauling the monsters through and into the cockpit. Massive volume of interior rod storage, outriggers, and a tuna tower completes the picture.
MYSTIC BLUE is in fantastic condition, one that I would put up against others that are years newer. Don’t miss an opportunity to consider MYSTIC BLUE for your next fishing machine before she gets caught by another buyer. You will be glad that you did.
