The Beneteau 423 combines beautiful lines, plenty of space, abundant light, superb comfort and all-around performance. The 423 is both fast and easy to handle in all types of weather – and was named Sailing World’s “2004 Boat of the Year”! Always a freshwater, Lake Ontario boat, this Beneteau is the preferred two-cabin version – and has been primarily used as a daysailer. She shows extremely well and is very well equipped.
Outside, her spacious cockpit features teak-inlaid seating for all your crew, custom cockpit cushions, folding leaf cockpit table, walk-through transom with folding helm seat, 2 stern rail seats, 2 large port and starboard cockpit lockers, 2 aft storage lockers, LPG gas locker, steering pedestal with 54” Lewmar wheel, a swim platform with ladder and storage locker and a hot and cold transom shower. She is powered by a Yanmar 55hp inboard diesel engine with very low hours.
Her large forward stateroom features an island style double berth, 2 settees, large hanging locker, overhead hatch with screen/sunshade, 2 fixed ports, abundant storage cabinets/lockers/drawers, privacy door and an en-suite head. This en-suite head features a stall shower with door and folding seat, a marine toilet with holding tank and tank-watch monitor, a sink with mirrored vanity, ample storage and an overhead deck hatch.
The elegant main salon is well-arranged and is bright and airy thanks to magnificent Cherrywood interior, numerous ports and hatches including 3 panoramic skylights, a large U-shaped dinette with expandable table that converts to a double berth with filler cushion, a central settee with storage below, a portside settee, a bulkhead-mounted LCD television with DVD player and numerous storage cabinets and lockers throughout. The salon also features a navigation station with a large chart table with storage and a navigator’s seat with storage below.
The impressive galley is aft to starboard and features a front and top opening refrigerator and freezer, a gimbaled 3-burner Force 10 LPG stove and oven, a built-in microwave oven, double stainless sinks with hot and cold pressure water, abundant storage cabinets above and below the solid-surface countertop, an overhead hatch and 2 ports.
Aft to port is a large second stateroom that features a double berth, a hanging locker, a storage cabinet and shelf, a privacy door, 3 ports and a private entry to the aft head. This dual-entry aft head is roomy and features a shower, marine toilet with holding tank and tank-watch monitor, a sink with mirrored vanity, ample storage and a port with screen.
