PETREL II is indeed a lovely looking boat from her powerful bow with bowsprit and mounted anchor, her long, low silhouetted cabin trunk and spacious pilothouse windows culminating in a comfortable cockpit and traditional sika spruce mast and boom. She is elegantly appointed with traditional yacht furnishings, including the John Williams Boat Company helm and nav seats, a large dinette that makes into a very comfortable double bunk and a unique solid teak desk with lift top and drawers. The forecastle is designed for two with a large centerline double bunk, galley with refigeration and freezer and spacious head with stall shower. There are lots of special ammenties requested by the owner and created by the craftsmen at John Williams Boat Company. It is a pleasure to see a boat that is as nicely finished and functional as this one. She is really worth seeing. | ||
