This one-owner 40 Riviera is very likely the best example of this model on the market. It is the only one with the preferred Cummins package and a very, very high level of upkeep and equipment. A custom set of VEEM props (just tuned by Black Dog Propellers) provide a great cruise at full load with a low fuel burn. It has every option including the rare East Coast Package. A full set of custom Tempur-Pedic mattresses complements the pristine interior. In addition to every factory fishing option, the owner has added fishbox chiller plates, a second removable fishbox, Rupp outriggers, teaser reels, and a fighting chair. New electronics were installed in 2010. It is now the ultimate mid-sized cruising/fishing convertible, capable of staying 100 miles offshore for the weekend or going to lunch with a couple aboard. Canyon Crusher was just fully detailed, polished, and bottom painted, and the owner has agreed to provide a brand-new enclosure as well.
This boat has never been south of Maryland. Originally one of our stock Rivieras, it was heavily equipped and then obviously only used lightly by a very experienced couple.
The owner is looking to move down to a high-quality, large center console or express and will consider quality trades. Fully detailed and polished, she is standing very tall and is turnkey ready for her second owner.

Cummins C-480-E's were the preferred package in this model, offering the best power/weight ratio and thus performance, plus the inherent reliability of the Cummins motor. The heat exchangers and aftercoolers were recently cleaned, and the engines were fully serviced just after the fall haulout. The owner worked with VEEM to spec custom props that provide a much higher cruise speed (27 knots fully loaded) at the same fuel burn (36 gph) as the standard Teignbridge props offered at a lower speed. They are matched to Twin Disc EC200 electronic controls with digital synchronizers.
-Cockpit Fishboxes (factory with chiller plate and removable aftermarket)
-Cockpit Bait Center
-32-foot Double Spreader Rupp Outriggers
