Oyster 53 Balthazar has only been used in the Mediterranean and as such has low hours for a 2005 build. She is unique with her slab reefed mainsail set up and with all lines being led aft to the safety of the cockpit she offers trouble free handling for even the short handed sailor. The cutter rig enhances the ‘go anywhere’ ability of the Oyster 53.
Her interior teak is in good shape and the addition of a very comfortable arm chair to port and the two berths in the owners cabin aft mean she is suited to a family or couple that want to go places. The 53 offers unparalleled accommodation for her size and with a fantastic sea keeping hull she is designed to be at home in the open seas or gentle blue water cruising.
