Marking a notable evolution in the Island Packet family, the 370 offers refined keel shapes and a higher aspect ratio rig for increased performance, new rudder shaft and blade geometry for enhanced control under sail and power, and a watertight anchor locker bulkhead for added security. The accommodations also shine, with the ever popular island berth both fore and aft, a separate shower stall in the head, and an optional Plus Package that boasts a solid, bevel planked teak and oak sole, premium Corian countertops in the galley and head, and furniture quality satin finish varnish on all interior wood surfaces.
Equipment
Beautiful teak laden layout with Island style queen berth forward in a private stateroom with two hanging lockers, chest of drawers and a large storage area under the berth. The head is next aft to port and is accessed by the forward cabin and the salon. The salon has port and starboard settees with the port side converting to a double berth. The dining table is bulkhead mounted with bottle storage behind. the nav station is aft to port with electric seat and all the nav instruments within easy reach. The galley is across to starboard and has double stainless sinks, 3 burner Force 10 stove and oven (propane), a huge refrigeration/freezer unit by Frigoboat and lots of cabinets for food and dinnerware. The private aft cabin features another queen size berth with hanging locker and drawers. There are 11 stainless steel opening ports with screens and 5 deck hatches all with Oceanair sliding screens and shades. The sole is teak and oak. The head has a separate shower area. The interior cushions in the salon are a soft tan leather.
