This beautiful sailing boat is fitted out in satin varnished mahogany throughout with natural coloured faux leather upholstery, beige curtains and beige carpets over teak and holly striped sole boards. as with all Hallberg Rasseys, this yacht benefits from good fixed and closable ventilation from two large dorade boxes over the saloon, three fixed tannoy type vents, a louvered grill in the companionway washboard, eight opening ports in the coach roof and four large opening deck hatches.
The hull with a much longer waterline makes better use of its hull measurements. this was carefully allocated to different areas of the deck, cockpit and interior for important gains in comfort.
The structural layout and lamination were further with the use of special glass fabrics attaining a higher glass content of the laminate, thus a stiffer and stronger yet lighter hull and deck. Enhanced performance is thanks to the efficient hull lines, having a much longer waterline and an optimum prismatic and mid section coefficients to match very well the power of modern rig and sail geometry,
Accommodation is accessed through the companionway at the forward end of the centre cockpit, four broad steps take you into the saloon with the chart table starboard and galley to port. The saloon comprises large folding leaf table on the centre line with L-shaped settee berth to starboard and straight settee berth to port.
Heads compartment is off the walkthrough to forward cabin with marine toilet and holding tank. wash hand basin with hot and cold water. Separate thermostatic shower mixer and handset with electric shower tray to pump overboard.
Forward cabin with traditional V berth with infill to make double berth. Huge sail bin beneath berths, shelves and lockers above. aft cabin accessed via walkthrough behind the chart table with two hanging lockers outboard in passage. Enter cabin with double berth to port and single passage making berth to starboard. stowage above and below berths.
Spars and Sails; Silver anodised spars by Selden, twin spreader 19/20th rig with fore and after lowers and discontinuous shrouds in 1x19 316 stainless steel wire and roll swaged terminals.
Detachable inner forestay for heavy weather rig, selden Furl-in mast main with cockpit control system. Selden Furlex forestay furling and reefing system. Selden rod kicker, selden backstay tensioner, aluminium shroud protectors, Two lewmar halyard winches mounted on mast. spinnaker halyard, rope clutches and cleats as required, spinnaker pole track and heel lift on front of mast. winch handle pocket on mast and stainless steel bow spit.
Deck equipment; solid teak laid decks to foredeck, side decks and cockpit. solid teak cap rail atop low bulwarks around deck. stainless steel pushpits, pulpit, stanchions and guard wires, gates in guard wires port and starboard. solid teak pushpit seats, secure cockpit layout with fixed glass windscreen. folding sprayhood to top of windscreen. stainless steel capped rubbing strake, 6 x stainless steel mooring cleats, stainless steel anti chaff strips by mooring cleats. 50m of 10mm chain and 20kg Delta anchor. 25lbs CQR Kedge chain and warp. 13 l/min deckwash with hose. full cockpit tent cover and S/S frame.
