REMARKS: Phantom has been used for family cruising and local Saileast and some EAORA racing. She has been maintained in all respects with no expense spared. The engine has done 600 hours and has been fully maintained by French Marine (main Yanmar Agents) every year and has a full service history.
Over the winter of 2011/12 an adjustable Seldon bowsprit was fitted and Phantom was set to race with two asymmetric spinnakers for the 2012 season. The aim of this move was to reduce crew numbers and to remove the need for such a highly skilled bowman. This has been very effective and great fun. The large asymmetric runner projects beautifully to windward and it is possible to run down to 160 degrees very effectively. All symmetric spinnakers, carbon pole, sheets guys etc. are not on the boat but come with the boat so the new owner can choose to go either the symmetric or asymmetric route or a combination of both. For cruising there is also a brand new unused Hyde 16metre Snuffer.
Phantom has an Endorsed IRC rating of 1.052. There is nothing the new owner has to do. Just get onboard and enjoy her.
