The Bayliner 285 is one of the largest wide beam single engine cruisers available with the feel and spaciousness of a much larger model thanks to its innovative design and engineering.
The spacious cockpit layout has ample seating for 6 and with the full enclosure it makes into another room. The walk through transom provides easy access and genuine, swivelling davits have been fitted for convenient dinghy storage, while maintaining cockpit access.
Mercruiser 350 mag petrol inboard stern drive with Duoprop engine and trim tabs provides excellent performance. New starter motor, alternator, drive belt and distributor cap fitted February 2018.

6 Double berths in 2 cabins with separate heads compartment.
Main saloon: with a spacious V-shaped double berth forward, with easy (front opening) access to under-berth lockers. Dinette to starboard with table that can be lowered to create a double berth.
Galley: to port with 2 ring Origo 4300E alcohol/electric hob, 240V AC microwave oven. Sink with pressurised hot & cold water supply. Front-opening refrigerator located opposite the galley within the end of the dinette seating.
Separate heads: compartment to starboard aft; equipped with sea toilet and basin with shower faucet. The toilet is provided with a holding tank.
Aft cabin: with transverse double berth, hanging locker and opening portlight to the cockpit for light and ventilation.
Large cockpit :with helm position to starboard and seating area opposite to port.
Aft seating area with table and foldaway aft seat bench offers good space at anchor/swimming and is overhead lit by lighting mounted in the cockpit arch. The aft-facing bench seat has a dual role and offers forward facing, double seating when the vessel is underway.
LED lighting is fitted throughout the accommodation areas.
Good ambient light values and ventilation are enabled by two additional hatches above galley and dinette, to supplement the more normal forward hatch.
A Sony CD/RadioMP3 Player is fitted in the saloon, with a Sony RM-X55m remote controller fitted at the helm position. 2 X Sony speakers in saloon & 2 speakers in cockpit.
