Presented in 2005, the Nautitech 40 is the successful evolution. Quick, easy to handle with surprising habitability (up to 10 berths) it was approved unanimously in this class. More than 60 Nautitech 40s are sailing the seas from the Baltic to China !! The Nautitech 40 has been given a new deck and there are some notable changes: new helm stations, larger galley all in one piece, hot plates and recessed oven, companion-way steps into the cockpit, icebox in the cockpti, lowering of the berth height, additional galley and saloon storage place, etc. The Standard versionhas 4 double cabins of equal size, an important quality for chartering, and 2 additional berths can be fitted out in the fore peaks. Owner version / 3 cabins: offers a hull containing 3 doubles cabins and 1 heads/shower the possibility of fitting out he fore peakfor additional berths. The other hull is completely occupied by 1 single large cabin with a double bed, an office/library corner followed byheads and a shower from which it is separated by an elegant opaque lass door. The optional "Exclusive" finish provides greater comfort and aesthetic qualities to your boat, such as teak, high quality outdoor upholstery, specific finishes, extra equipment.
The hulls are constructed in solid fibreglass. The bridge deck and main deck are built of a PVC foam and fibreglass sandwich. The main structural bulkheads are constructed in first choice multi-ply marine plywood, and the rudder stocks are of high mechanical resistance F16PH stainless steel mounted on self aligning bearings. Separate fin keels fixed under the hulls constituting a “fuse” if inadvertently grounding, with a soft wear plate for beaching.
