This Custom 70 Multi-hull, My Way Forever, is a world class cruiser custom built to the highest standards. She was launched in 2004 in New Zealand, by builder's, Pachoud Motor Yachts New Zealand. Since then, she has completed two (2) circumnavigations, which have included several Pacific crossings and trips to Asia, the Mediterranean and the Caribbean. Now it is your turn to own this extraordinary yacht to cruise any where that You would like. My Way Forever has been continuously maintained and updated making sure she is always ready to sail away.
Just in time for the America's Cup she is now conveniently located on the San Francisco Bay where the competition begins this summer. What better platform than 70' multi-hull to view this event. The large cockpit, and spacious foredeck will provide excellent space for you and your guests to view the event. Further, this yacht provides exceptional accomodations for entertaining both inside and out.
Easy to handle, easy to sail the Custom 70 inspires confidence in the owner and makes sailing comfortable for the crew. The versatile hydraulic in-boom furling system makes it easy to raise, lower, and reef the main. Coupled with electric winches, and all lines leading to the cockpit helm sailing will seem effortless. When you need them, the twin diesel engines are powerful and will help you make your destination when breezes are light or non-existent. They also offer exceptional manuverability to keep stress low when in tight quarters.
My Way Forever is a powerful, elegant sailing yacht that offers easy handling, luxurious accomodations and superb performance. The feeling of freedom that comes from exploring new horizons; the pride of ownership that comes from a well designed, engineered yacht and the joy of sharing memorable cruising adventure with life-long friends can be yours. As you enter this amazing boat at the helm level you have a wonderful over-view of spacious cockpit: a long curving settee across the entire back of the boat, with a beautiful rectangle teak table (seats 8) that can be be moved anywhere in the cockpit to accomodate your entertainment style. There is an outdoor galley with S/S sink, refrigerator, and ample space for prepartion just below the helm; to starboard is a large new S/S Infra-Red BBQ. It is all designed for easy access for crew and guests while underway and also provides perfect area for entertaining. This grand cockpit is covered by a hardtop (with lighting) and is open on all four sides for great air circulation, a beautiful lanai. It can be quickly enclosed when the weather is cool and/or wet.
Dockside or underway the custom 70 provides her owner and crew with the softer pleasures below decks. Rich cherry surfaces and joinery offer a warm, inviting environment. There is a resourceful array of storage spaces throughout this yacht with plenty of room for a complete inventory of tools, spare parts, supplies and emergency equipment.
You enter the main salon of this luxurious yacht from the cockpit through a sliding door with a wood framed screen door. The entry way and galley cabin sole are wood with the rest of the main salon and cabins having new, neutral, wall-to-wall carpeting. To starboard is the dinning area featuring a stunning hexagon shaped (6 sided) high gloss, cherrywood, inlayed, dinning table with comfortable seating for 6. There are also eight (8) folding teak chairs that can be used inside and out. Beyond the table, outboard in the dinning area is a built-in cherrywood buffet or "side-board" with storage drawers and next to it a standing cabinet with additional drawers for storage.
To port is a bar with three (3) stools (recently recovered in buff colored ultra-suede) for casual dinning and/or entertaining. All countertops are covered with a black opal Corian. Beyond the bar is the well-designed galley featuring S/S double sink, dishwasher, and trash compactor, facing the bar and the refrigerator/freezer, and 4 burner stove/oven opposite. There is plentiful storage both drawer and cabinets and there is no limitation to the type of cooking you may like to perform from gourmet to short-order you can do it in this galley. Another plus, the chef/cook can be involved in all crew activites from their vantage point in the galley and they have a great view too!
Forward of the dinning area and galley you step up into the main salon. The inviting seating area with settee and 2 end chairs, newly upholstered in dark blue and tan hues, make this area very comfortable. This arrangement makes it easy for conversation with your crew and/or guests. To port of the main salon is the chart table and navigation station. The U-shaped configuration and the comfortable, swiveling, leatherette covered "Captain's" chair it is easy to control the many systems that function on board. All electronics including two (2) computers are at the fingertips of the owner.
Between the galley and navigation station is your stairway to the port hull where there are two (2) staterooms, two (heads), space for laundry, an additional freezer, and immense storage. Aft is owner stateroom with raised island queen size bed with reading lights on both sides and a drop down flat screen television. There is ample storage in drawers under the berth and hanging locker and cabinets. The large port at the foot of the bed offers a great view no matter where you are. There is an EnSuite head, one of four heads. All with electric flush heads, all moulded vanity and sink with enclosed stand-up shower, and chrome finished toilet roll cover and towel bars. All of the heads offer a generous amount of storage. Across from the head is a large cherrywood, lighted vanity with additional stowage.
In the hallway that passes between the owner stateroom and the guest quarters, outboard, is large pantry, large cabinets with folding doors that can house washer and dryer (plumbing and electrical in place) and another sizeable freezer for long passages. Inboard there are more storage cabinets which are excellent for storing appliances for use in the galley.
Forward are the guest quarters with raised queen size bed, reading lights, and settee with vanity and storeage lockers outboard. Forward of this berth is ensuite head with moulded vanity and sink, enclosed shower and electric head.
The stairway to the starboard hull is just beyond the dinning room where there are two (2) staterooms, two (heads), and the crew quarters. At the bottom of the stairway conveniently located is the guest head with molded vanity and sink with enclosed shower and electric flush head. This spot provides easy entry from both the main salon and the guest quarters.
Going forward, there is a guest stateroom with raised queen sized bed, reading lights, and a settee just in front of the bed. Outboard, and across from the bed and settee is a vanity with sink and storeage cabinets. There is a door forward from the guest stateroom that leads to the crew cabin. The crew has an entrance to the deck to avoid disturbing guests at change of watch.
Moving aft from the stairway is the owners head with molded vanity and sink with enclosed shower and electric flush head. Nearby is a lighted, cherrywood, vanity with storeage cabinets and drawers. The owners stateroom, outboard, has a raised queen size bed, with reading lights on both sides of the bed, and a drop down flat screen TV. There are drawers, hanging locker, and cabinets for storage.
