The new Lion 46 power catamaran features three spacious levels with impressive features, in addition to the integral benefits of its catamaran design. The hulls are of advanced composite GRP sandwich construction using high quality materials and incorporating a vacuum bonded foam core, providing high compression and impact resistance. The hulls carry a comprehensive limited osmosis warranty. All structural bulkheads are bonded and glassed to the hull, using multi layers of woven roving fiberglass, for superb strength and rigidity. The hulls and deck are all laid up by hand ensuring a high standard of construction. Construction and all systems meet CE regulations and ABYC standards. A shallow draft of 3' 8" / 1.16m is achieved. The hulls are painted with environmentally sound, high quality anti-fouling. The prop shafts are supported by a strut, which also protects the propeller. Both deck and hull are finished in white gel coat with striping and graphics.
The deck has a molded-in non-skid pattern providing excellent traction. Spacious sunbathing area forward Chined hulls reduce spray. High clearance between the two hulls creates a smoother passage through the water.
