Solid fiberglass below the waterline with Kevlar reinforced stem and stern bottom areas and vinylester resins used in laminates. Above the waterline, a combination of Knyex mat and Airex are used for added resiliency as well as improved sound and thermal insulation.
The superstructure includes hand-laid Knytex combined with end-grained balsa and/or Divinycell coring and surface mats (to reduce print through). Hull and superstructure molds from high-grade female tooling. Hull and superstructure construction includes use of USA-made Cook gel coat.
Teak aft and side decks. Boat and fore decks have GripTex non-skid finish. Bulwark has molded plank lines with USA- made Cook gel coat finish.
Polyurethane formulated marine sealants used at hull-to-deck, boat joints and exterior fittings.
Marine-grade plywood bulkheads with molded fiberglass hat section stringers.
Teak veneer walls and cabinetry with satin varnish.
The saloon is entered through double aluminum weather tight doors from the aft deck. To port is an upholstered sofa settee. Perfect for three, or to lounge for your afternoon nap. To starboard is an L-shaped dinette with teak hi-lo table. At the forward end of the saloon is a built-in entertainment center and desk with bookshelves. There are teak valances and custom pleated shades on the large port and starboard saloon windows and on the aft bulkhead window. All the windows open and are equipped with screens to allow plenty of ventilation.
The large open faced galley is located on the starboard side, forward of the saloon. Major components include:

Master Stateroom with En-Suite Head
The master stateroom is all the way forward and features a centerline raised queen bed that has a custom mattress with storage below and six very large draws. There are two hanging lockers on the starboard side. On the aft wall is a large mirror with vanity below. On the port side is an en-suite head and hanging locker. In the master stateroom there are two large screened opening hatches above the bed and opening ports on the hull sides.
The master stateroom head is located to the port side of the stateroom. It has a VacuFlush toilet. The large stall shower includes a bi-fold aluminum and glass door. It features Corian countertops and a FM Mattsson sink fixture as well as a Scanmix shower fixture. Opening ports provide both light and ventilation.
Guest Stateroom / Office
The guest stateroom/office is located aft of the master stateroom on the starboard side. There is a convenient handrail on the wall between the two staterooms. The office/den with built-in desk, teak bookshelves with accent lighting can easily be converted to accommodate guests with the convertible settee. In addition, a pullman bunk can be deployed to sleep a third crew person on the forward wall. The double hanging locker provides ample storage along with numerous drawers. There are three opening ports to provide both light and ventilation.
The guest head is across the hall from the guest stateroom and just down from the saloon. In the head there is a walk-in shower with bi-fold door , VacuFlush head, cabinet with Corian counter top and sink, and cabinet above with mirror. The guest head also has a built-in stacked GE washer/dryer behind teakwood doors, and opening ports with screens.
Portside steps from the salon provide access to the pilothouse. In the pilothouse the visibility is excellent . There are weather-tight aluminum Dutch doors on both sides of the pilothouse for easy access to the side decks. Opening ports on the aft wall provide additional ventilation.
A centerline wheel with helm chair is forward. Room for charts and chart draws and storage below are on either side of the helm. Behind the helm chair is a raised settee behind with a table that will lower so the settee can be made into a pilot berth. Removable window privacy screens are included. a teak and holly floor, teak cabinets and trim are featured. Other items include:
