The Hunter Legend 36 has an innovative design which puts the yacht to the top of the 36 foot yacht range. With an interior that boasts finely finished teak furniture and genuine Corian worktops, the yacht has a luxurious ambiance throughout. Designed with both space and comfort in mind, she has all the space below deck of that usually found on a 40 footer; the saloon, galley and both staterooms all have generous dedicated storage and hanging spaces and the design also encompasses unique features such as the saloon table with drop down leaves which help provide extra space for movement around the saloon should you have additional guests. Another popular design featured in this yacht is the generous sized heads compartment with a door separator enclosing the heads and shower from the hand basin.
The Hunter Legend 36 is easily handled, fitted with the B&R rig, a favourite amongst Hunters and one of the strongest and easiest to sail rigs ever designed, her performance in the waters for a mid-size cruiser is exceptional.
'Cowie Boy' is a one owner from new yacht and is in great condition, the upholstery and woodwork are like new and she is well worth consideration. She was last anti-fouled in Winter 2014 and is now being stored ashore at Conwy Marina after recently being sailed here from the Menai Straits by her owner. Full service history and title documents are available for her.

Manufacturer Provided Description
Whether you are ready to set sail for the islands or just around the buoys, the Hunter 36 can really make a difference. Starting with the tall, fractional rig, which is a direct descendent of the B&R rig that powered Hunter's Child to a second place finish in the recent BOC, Hunter has engineered the mast to carry less weight aloft with smaller sections. This is accomplished by utilizing swept-back spreaders and reverse diagonals as well as mast support struts. This combination provides superior strength without a backstay and increases the stability at the same time. By using a large roach main as the power sail, Hunter has eased the effort in sail handling and allowed for real versatility for all wind and sea conditions. The deck layout reflects the innovation that accompanies the rig. An integrated arch protects the cockpit from snapping main sheets and blistering sun with the optional bimini. This arch keeps the cockpit clear and open. A custom console stands ready with the standard VHF and instruments. Single lever control and fold down table along with engine instrumentation complete the command station. The swim platform and walkthrough transom complete with shower and folding ladder are perfect for water sports or for boarding the tender. Storage is everywhere you look and the non-skid is absolutely first-rate.
The Hunter Legend 36 is renowned for its accomodation and space layout, it has been said that there is more room below deck than you would expect to find on 40' yacht.
To port is a the heads compartment with a Jabsco heads, shower and a hand basin.
Starboard side is a well equipped galley with a Gimballed LPG Oven and Grill, fridge with an ice box, fresh water filter,a double sink with cutting board plus a Standby whale tiptoe galley pump and a Jabsco 10.61 seawater pump connected to a stainless steel tap in the galley.
The spacious saloon is fitted with a blue upholstery, it provides and exceptional entertainment and socialising area for your guests and the dinette table is also convertible into extra berths.
The two private cabins, one forward and one aft, have double berths plus a generous amount of hanging and storage space.
This yacht has full standing headroom of 1.96meters.
