This is a Custom Class (Open) 40 monohull designed by Westermann for singlehanded and shorthanded ocean racing. She was custom built in Lavagna, Genova, Italy during 2004 to compete in the 2005 OSTAR, but ultimately did not enter. Construction is cedar strip composite/epoxy with a canting keel. In 2007, the keel was changed to conform to the Class 40 rules.

The yacht entered the 2009 OSTAR and recorded a third place finish. She has been unused since but has been professionally maintained in race-ready condition. All Class 40 rules have been followed but the yacht has not been officially measured as it has not been campaigned.

The owner is willing to deliver this yacht to its new owner for out of pocket expenses only. This is your opportunity to acquire a competitive shorthanded racer without the usual new boat bugs.
