Throughout it's 45 year history, C&C Yachts have been known for their build quality, sailing performance and handsome styling, The C&C 121 is no exception with it's graceful sheer, low freeboard, and carefully sculpted deck.
Designed by Tim Jackett and built by Tartan Yachts at their Fairport, Ohio factory, the 121 was the largest C&C design to be built by Tartan.
The 2004 model enjoys several distinct advantages over earlier (1999 - 2003) build years. By 2004 the 121 was being built with a post-cured epoxy/e-glass/ foam cored hull with carbon fibre laminates in high load areas, carbon fibre mast and, in this case, a carbon fibre retractable sprit for flying assymetrical spinnakers.
Earlier model years were built in polyester/e-glass and had aluminum masts; a significant downgrade from the 2004 build specs and a valid reason to seek out and expect to pay more for a 2004 model.
The interior finish was also upgraded in 2004, going from a rather industrial grey gelcoat with grey formica counter tops to a much more inviting cream color gelcoat and tan Granitcote countertops. Several other detail changes set the 2004 model apart from earlier builds.
Custom mattresses, factory reverse-cycle air conditioning and generator, recent electronics and a nice club-race sail inventory and a beautiful deep red hull color make this example a real joy to sail whether racing with friends or cruising with friends and family.
This boat is the finest example of a 121 on the market; schedule an inspection now - this one won't last long.

This is a well designed two cabin layout. The entire interior feels very bright and open with cream colored gelcoat finishes in addition to the satin varnished cherry joinery, off-white ultraleather cushions, tan granitecote counters and a teak and holly cabin sole.
Comfort below is further enhanced by the factory-installed reverse-cycle heat and air conditioning and a 4.7 Kw Fischer Panda generator.
Forward is a large v-berth with custom mattresses. Ample storage is supplied by hanging lockers port and starboard and cabinets above and outboard of the berth. Light and ventilation are provided via a large overhead hatch.
The main salon features an L-shaped settee to port and a straight settee to starboard with a solid cherry drop-leaf centerline table. There are cherry shelves and cabinets outboard on both sides and a flat-screen TV mounted on the port bulkhead. There are three overhead hatches and the distinctive slash-style side cabin windows to let in natural light and air.
Moving aft on the starboard side is the forward-facing nav station with the 12 and 110 volt electrical panels, Standard Horizon VHF and Raymarine ST60 displays.
Opposite on the port side is the U-shaped galley with twin Stainless Steel sinks, gimballed 3 burner Force 10 LPG stove with oven, Microwave oven, and storage in drawers and lockers. The front-and-top loading fridge/freezer is equipped with 12 volt Isotherm refrigeration.
Aft and to port is the aft cabin with a large double berth with custom mattresses, a hanging locker and additional storage in lockers, shelves and beneath the berth. Three opening ports and an overhead hatch supply lots of fresh air and light.
Aft and to starboard is the head with seperate stall shower with folding lucite shower door, vanity and Jabsco marine toilet with holding tank.
