Seller just spent approximately $20,000 for New Caterpillar Platinum Extended Engine Coverage good thru February 2012. Alban Caterpillar of Baltimore performed 2 days of rigerous inspections, testing and sea trials in order for "Sierra" to qualify for the platinum extended warranty program. In addition, propellers were reconditioned and balanced to meet Cat specs, all fluids were checked and changed and any hoses in question were changed.

As an accomplished seaman, the owner has $6,000 in spare parts, fluids and tools. Loaded with Raymarine Color Radar/Chart, and Autopilot at both stations, TriData, VHF, Bow Thruster, stern and engine room camera, Hydraulic Gangway/Pasarelle, emergency inflatable Raft and EPIRB.

"Sierra" has at least $60,000 more in additional options and extended warranty coverage than any other competitor
