CASSIOPEE II is among the last Alubat Ovni 385 to leave the Chantier Alubat factory in 2004. Philippe Briand's brilliant design encompassing safety, comfort and fast passage making. Alubat Ovnis are the most sought after alloy cruising yachts in Europe and this one is in very good condition, recent pictures speak for themselves.
The lifting centerboard allows good downwind runs, beaching and exploration of coastalines and shallows. She is of course fully equipped to go blue water cruising.

All OVNI yachts are built from 5083 H 111 aluminium and welded in an Argon/Helium atmosphere. Interior wood is oak, with white vinyl headlining. Lead ballast encapsulated in resin. This is a fine example of the owner's version (3 cabin) of the 385.

CASSIOPEE II has three comfortable double cabins fore and 2 aft with a large single head and shower. The centreboard box is incorporated into the double drop leaf salon table. Aft of the salon is a large galley and navigation station befitting a blue water cruiser. There is lots of stowage space throughout and the interior is fitted out with plenty of solid oak trim, well finished paneling and vinyl head linings. Lifting floorboards provides excellent access to all bilge areas under the cabin sole. On deck there is a large cockpit followed by an equally impressive swim platform
