The world?s most sold and active 10 m class yacht. Big words - but true. Since the launch of hull 01 back in ?85, where a spectacular number of more than 100 X-99?s were sold based on the drawings alone, the qualities of the X-99 have enabled her to form active and approved class organisations in the following countries: Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Estonia, Germany, Holland, the UK, Switzerland and Hong Kong. These class organisations formed early on the International X-99 Class Association which has worked hard since 1990 on establishing the X-99 as an internationally recognized, ISAF approved Class. This happened in 1997, and official X-99 World Championships have since then attracted between 50 and 74 participants (Skovshoved, Denmark, in 2001).
