The construction of this Custom Express too over two years, starting in 2002 and finishing in late fall of 2003. I do mean a bare hull, no house, no decks, no engines, no wiring or plumbing. The Idea was to power her with more horsepower for speeds up to 40mph, so several layers of glass was added to the bottom chines and stringers. The bulkheads were made extra strong, after fairing the bilges and engine room, all the parts and pieces started coming together. The combination of the 1300hp MANS and two-speed ZF gears and hauls tail in total comfort. In 2008 she had a major refit. The engines were rebuilt and a chrome package added. New creamy Awl grip paint, sparkling varnish, new pipewelder's tower with two hardtops and built-in lights and teaser reels. Complete with new canvas works, Hydraulic pipewelder's three spreader outriggers. All the electronics, including the TV were replaced in 08/09, as were all interior fabrics.
