The pocket drive combines all of the advantages of a direct drive inboard with a prop pocket to improve offshore ride and overall performance. The Shamrock Pocket Drive’s distinct design directs a steady flow of water to the prop, eliminating the cavitations and rooster tail associated with the older tunnel drives.
The Shamrock Pocket Drive hull combined with the direct drive inboard engine more centrally located result in a more stable boat whether drifting or trolling in a cross sea or offshore taking on the rollers.

Horsepower to horsepower, inboard power burns less fuel than a four cycle outboard engine. The 5 liter MPI delivers 300 plus horsepower where it is needed at with an easy to handle fuel burn.
