CAPO GIRO was built for a very knowledgeable and exacting yachtsman who had previously owned a number of Swans.  In fact, the RS, Raised Salon was designed at his request.  He and the present owner, also a yachtsman of deep experience, have maintained and improved the yacht without regard to cost. 

CAPO GIRO provides thoroughbred performance under sail, with a deck layout and sail handling systems that are elegant in their simplicity.  She has only six winches on deck, yet flies a full range of racing sails that are easily managed by minimal crew.  All sailing functions are with full hydraulic assist, including the captive reel mainsheet, which adjusts with a touch of the joystick. 

The yacht is a joy to live aboard, in port or far at sea, with unobstructed visibility from the raised pilothouse/salon, 3-4 double guest staterooms, gourmet galley and fully separate crew quarters forward.  Her compliment of navigation electronics, communication equipment and the Crestron integrated entertainment system for all cabins aboard are without parallel in sailing yachts of this size.

Simply stated, CAPO GIRO is an elegant yacht in all respects.  German Frers designed a hull and sailplan that provides optimum performance in all conditions and at all points of sail.  Nautor engineered a deck layout and sail handling systems that harness tremendous forces safely and with ease for minimal crew.  Her profile turns heads in all ports of call and she provides all amenities for comfortable living aboard.
