Three double cabins; two forward and one aft. Each cabin has a double berth and an overhead hatch. Each cabin has overhead lighting and a separate reading light. Each cabin has a hanging locker with additional storage. Each cabin has superb ventilation and a 12V two-speed fan.
AC electrical system is 110V AC 60hz. Yacht operates on a 12V system. Panel supplied for 12V system & 110V system. Three gel-cell 165 amp house batteries, and a dedicated gel-cell 95 amp battery for each engine. Both amperage and DC voltage are shown at the panel. A 12V refrigeration system with heavy duty evaporator plate serves a foam insulated icebox. Ventilation is provided by an overhead hatch and two forward opening ports. Two burner LPG gimbaled stove with oven and broiler. Double stainless steel sinks. A 10 Gallon/38 Liter garbage bin is conveniently located under the galley work surface. Ample work surfaces and locker space for crockery, cutlery and all cooking utensils. Main work surfaces covered with Corian.
Twin Volvo 40Hp naturally aspirated 3 cylinder engines. Engine instrumentation includes oil pressure, tachometer, water temperature, hour meter, and amp meter. Engine sound alarm to indicate low oil pressure and high freshwater temperature. Keyless ignition switch in cockpit. Fuel capacity is 66 US gallons/250 Liters in an aluminum tank. Racor fuel filters on each engine. Upgraded 90 amp alternators on each engine. Steering is via cables.
The hulls are of GRP construction with balsa core for strength, stiffness and insulation, using high quality materials. The hulls carry a comprehensive limited osmosis warranty from Robertson & Caine. An exceptionally shallow draft of 3'5"/10m is achieved. The hulls have fixed skegs that protect the rudders. They also offer excellent attachment points for the rudder shafts. The rudders are composite with a stainless steel shaft. The prop shafts are supported by a solid skeg. This offers better protection for the shafts. Both deck and hull are finished in white gel coat with the trademark Moorings striping and graphics.
The deck has a molded-in non-skid pattern providing excellent traction even in the most severe conditions. The deck offers a large aft platform. This allows easy access onto the boat and unparalleled ease of movement in and out of the cockpit. The anchor deployment and retrieval system have been fine-tuned to a detail not seen before. The large windlass, remotely controlled by hand, can also be used to raise the mainsail. There is a hatch at the anchor roller to allow easy attachment of the bridle. Two large deck hatches provide access to the water tanks and chain rode. The windlass is protected by its own hatch. A large cockpit locker is supplied for storage. An additional cockpit locker with overboard drain and solenoid provides storage for two 10lb/4.5kg LPG cylinders. Two large opening hatches allow for engine room access. Stainless steel bow rails with integrated seats. Stainless steel stern rails with hand holds for access on and off the boat. Stainless steel swim ladder mounted on the port hull. Mast & Rigging
Mast is extruded anodized aluminum with a single set of swept back spreaders. Single forestay with Profurl jib furling system. Anodized aluminum boom with reefing system, outhaul and reefing line jammers. Stainless steel chain plates. Lower ends of rigging are attached with double screw turnbuckles. Mast exits for halyards are stainless steel. Antal mast slider system is supplied for low friction mainsail hoisting and lowering.
Large mainsheet traveler with jammers and Lewmar 30 CST winch. Two self-tailing Lewmar 48 CST two-speed winches are used to control the main and jib sheets. All sheets lead through jammers. Two self-tailing Lewmar 44 CST two-speed winches are provided on the mast for halyard and reef line operation, two jammers for the halyards and a snatch block for the reef lines. Secondary bow roller is mounted on the forward cross spar. Navigation console with compass and all engine controls. Stainless steel Destroyer steering wheel. Cast aluminum mooring cleats: two on the bow, two amidships and two on the stern. Two U-bolts for dinghy towing line mounted on the inboard side of each hull/transom area. Two U-bolts for anchoring bridle mounted on the inboard side of each hull. Stainless steel stanchions and aluminum bases with uncoated stainless steel life lines. Port and starboard life line gates.
