Construction Hull is in SOLID GRP/Aramidic composite with mat, roving, and unidirectional fibers impregnated at a high glass contents by polyester isoftalic resins. Main deck and superstructure is in GRP/sandwich core composite. The core for structures, hull, and superstructure is high-density PVC foam and polyurethane foam. Plywood of the best marine grade; teak in all exposed areas; AISI 316 stainless steel for outside hardware and some piping (wet exhaust, fuel); Cunifer 90/10 for sea water and bilge piping. Particular care has been put in thermal and acoustic insulation: rock wool with density varying from 15 to 50 Kg/cm and thickness from 1? to 5? is generally used and covered by an aluminum thin sheet in humid areas. In the E.R. the insulation is obtained with several layers of rock wool plus a lead sheet (ceiling and bulkheads); everything is sealed with a special tape and covered by a perforated aluminum sheet. Equal care has been put in dampening vibrations: all moving equipment is installed on resilient mountings; a rubber layer under floors (?floating floors?), ceilings and partition bulkheads; padding under the carpet.
The builder is a high reputation, high quality yard with a selected and experienced staff of engineers and technicians that inherited the great boat building tradition of this region of Italy. The hi-tech construction with the best material available provides strength and lightness to the well-performing hull that was tested at the Vienna water testing tank. The yard uses plenty of heavy-duty and reliable material, equipment and systems, which are normally used only on commercial and military ships, such as the CUNI 90/10 (copper-nickel alloy) for sea water and bilge piping or the hydraulic coupling (key-less) of the propellers to the shaft. The outside profile is extremely elegant and modern. The layout is excellent: in particular the master stateroom has two magnificent bathrooms, a huge walk-in closet, a large office, and can be considered a majestic suite with the addition of the sky lounge. No expense has been spared for the décor and the interior finish that are among the best ever seen in a pleasure motor yacht. The rare, high-gloss Italian walnut has different patterns and wood inlays that create elegant movement and decorative effects. The curved trims of furniture and the moldings with multiple-elements have been a challenge for the most skillful Italian woodcraftsmen that have been employed. The floors are covered with wood or marble throughout and there are several areas with mosaics of different woods and precious stones including lapislazzuli, onyx, and malachite. The ceilings are masterpieces made of wood and silk inserts of different shapes and colors.
