Generously sized and well laid out in a practical L-shape, the galley is nicely fitted out with a two-burner stove and twin deep stainless-steel sinks. Its convenience is enhanced by the ventilation provided by two opening ports, a hatch, and the proximate companionway. The refrigerator and freezer are under-counter, custom stainless-steel units that offer the convenience of front-opening household appliances and leave the counters clear for food preparation.
A complement of four can sit around the dinette on sculpted seats and with ample elbow room, and the settees are long enough and straight enough to stretch out on. A flat-screen TV pivot-mounted on the starboard saloon bulkhead stands by to entertain dockside. The saloon’s large windows are all equipped with sliding shades and screens.
The forward cabin—with a V-berth—has its own head and ample storage. There’s also a Pullman option, which features a double berth along the port side, opening the starboard side for a spacious dresser with drawers and a vanity sink. In the aft cabin, the queen-size berth s set athwartships, and by virtue of the cockpit’s height above the waterline, it’s neither claustrophobic nor restrictive and is extremely comfortable with the boat at rest.
"Windwaker" is far from a normal boat. The Hunter 426 AC is a step above your average production cruiser. The hull design has a longer water line to increase performance. The under body features a "Stern Reflex"giving flatter exit, adding stability and decreasing the wake and turbulence, all providing better performance.
The plumbing, too, is arranged logically, with through-hulls and manifolds readily accessible and clearly labeled, and the engine is revealed in its entirety when the companionway steps are swung aside and the vanity table aft is pulled up. You can expect to arrive for a weekend sail aboard "Windwaker" and find all systems working and very little maintenance or cleaning to do. When maintenance is due, all systems are easy to reach to carrry out routine service.
This boat is set up to be run single handed. All sheets are led aft to the cockpit. With the furling main sail and the jib it doesn't get more comfortable. Whitlock mechanical steering arrangement offers outstanding control, and is accompanied by a fold down table central to the spacious cockpit. Raymarine electronics, dodger with bimini top and full cockpit exclosure with screen makes cockpit space versatile and the storage area is nothing short of spectacular. Plentiful, contoured seating makes cruising and entertaining truly comfortable.
"Windwaker" is in the water this season with fresh bottom paint. New dingy davit installed summer 2017. It's ready to go at anytime.

Manufacturer Provided Description
Hunter Marine has launched their latest creation, the Hunter 426 Deck Saloon. This innovative cruiser features a performance orientated hull drawn by noted designer and racer, Glenn Henderson, Hunter?s Chief Designer. Following on the heels of the tremendously successful Hunter 356, the 426 will share the same sailing attributes. Like the 356, the 426 carries the beam well aft, but the additional beam does not hinder performance or seakeeping ability, it actually enhances it. Wide windows and ports offer a real panorama and the creative layout allows for two full staterooms with two full heads and separate stall showers. Continuing to innovate and go more upscale, this Hunter will offer special amenities such as a flat-screen television and a Bose Audio system as standard. Galley appliances are stainless steel and surrounded by genuine Corian countertops. Innerspring mattresses are standard in both spacious staterooms and there is even a special desk / office area in the master.
