Grand Banks 42 Europa. This is a beautifully kept example of these classic trawler yachts. She has been fastidiously maintained throughout her lifetime, and arguably the best example available. Her specification is of the highest order, and she would make an excellent long-term liveaboard, or holiday home by the sea.

SLEEPS SIX IN TWO DOUBLE FORWARD STATEROOMS PLUS DOUBLE IN SALOON
Forward master suite with square mattress giving ease of access form each side. Beautifully finished storage cabinets and drawers complimented by in-set stainless steel lighting. Individual reading lights over bed. There is en suite access to the heads compartment. The guest cabin is situated to port and consists of a large double bed. The standard layout on 42 Europa is to have two bunk beds but at the owners request this was changed to a double, which is far more inviting for your guests to stay. The heads is located to starboard and has a separate heads and shower compartment. Again the finish and attention to detail is superb. Having one heads mena it is a very generous size and is easily accessed from both cabins.
SALOON: The saloon is really what this boat is all about. It is extremely welcoming and beautifully laid out for spending longer periods of time aboard. The upholstery is cream with ‘U’ shaped seating to port and two individual arm chairs to starboard. Between the two armchairs is a teak storage unit, which plays host to a fitted television. All windows are fitted with blinds. The saloon table opens up and can be raised or lowered by foot pedal. Wooden parque flooring throughout the boat. This is complimented in the saloon by blue Grand Banks carpet, which displays the Grand Banks logo. The carpet is easily removed for cleaning. All windows have easy to open/close sliding cream blinds and cream curtains. There is also a full length blind for the aft cabin doors for complete privacy. For occasional sleeping the ‘U’ shaped seating area can convert to a double bed.

Toy Buoy has given us over 4 years of the best cruising experiences that we have ever had. She has been our temporary home for many weeks and we can honestly say that we have enjoyed her immensely. We are confident that her new owners will no doubt be taking ownership of one of the most, if not the best equipped Grand Banks Europas currently sailing in European waters.
